At The First Element Group, we are passionate about the role ‘green hydrogen’ can play in the transition to net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
We believe in its potential as a safe green alternative to the many millions of LPG tanks currently being used in cooking and heating.
Supported by Innovate UK, we are developing a Smart Tank solution which will enable consumers to make a meaningful contribution to net zero, generating their own green hydrogen fuel on-site using only water and electricity from renewable sources: Democratising and bringing Fuel In-House.
Following the COP 26 summit, so far more than 130 countries have pledged to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050
At The First Element Group (TFEG) we are passionate about the role low carbon or ‘green hydrogen’ can play in the transition to net zero carbon emission by 2050.
Current Challenges
The questions surrounding green production, distribution and safe storage and use are obstacles to a more widespread adoption of hydrogen as an energy source.
Our Aim
To apply technology, science and innovation to remove these obstacles and bring fuel in-house.

Our Aim
To apply technology, science and innovation to remove these obstacles and bring fuel in-house.

The First Element Group wants to do things differently
We are working on a Smart Tank and integrated IOT software solution whereby green hydrogen can be produced safely and efficiently at the point of use in a domestic (or indeed almost any) setting and in the quantities required, using only water and electricity from renewable energy sources: As no distribution network is required, an attendant carbon footprint is immediately avoided.
The Smart technology will address the obvious key concerns of safety during production, storage and use as well as monitoring production efficiencies and the cost and availability of the renewable electricity being used.
Our R&D and investments
We have a strong commercial and results driven approach and are
keen to be part of meaningful change for the good of the planet.

Producing hydrogen at the point of use using renewable energy sources

Improving safety and addressing concerns related to the use of hydrogen

Facilitating the switch from carbon based fuels to hydrogen
